My friend Bella Renteria Bishop is the first person I took pictures of. I have been friends with her since 5th grade, and she means so much to me. We have had so many amazing adventures together including Traveling Up North, Florida, and Cedar Point. We have a special kind of friendship that even though we might not talk or see each other for 5 months, we can still pick up a conversation like we never stopped. I took these pictures in the park in our subdivision. My favorite image(shown above) was one I took in this bush plant that covers a power generator in our park. There was a small opening in the other side, so I had a vision of a good picture and a good background. How I tried to get the best possible image was different angles. I also told Bella to “act natural” and pretend I wasn’t even there. It definitely worked. The challenges were trying to find the right lighting and the right angle. I wanted a picture in nature, so I didn’t want any houses or sidewalks in the background. It was trouble to try to find an environment like that. I feel accomplished because this photo represents who Bella is. That is the message I am trying to convey is a truly happy soul in a wide wonderful world.
